Bear Stearns and the effect in the market
The investment bank Bear Stearns will be sold at a bargain cost of $2 per share to JP Morgan. This news is just one sign of the huge credit crisis that is half way through.
This is another effect of the credit crush, and my prediction is that these kind of news will continue arriving, driving the Dow Jones Index below the 10,000 barrier, since next month all investment firms and banks will present the second quarter info, bringing more bad news.
Also, EEV, ultrashort emerging markets, and QID, ultrashort nasdaq 100 are quite attractive if you believe that the recession is just beginning.
